Pim's TekDiving PTD richt zich voor 100% op technisch duiken. Wij zijn de enige duikschool in Nederland die uitsluitend technische duikopleidingen aanbiedt — vanuit meerdere gerenommeerde agencies.

Pim's TekDiving PTD is 100% focused on technical diving. We are the only Dutch diving school that exclusively provides technical dive training, across multiple recognized agencies.

PTD stelt veiligheid altijd op de eerste plaats. Instructeurs en materiaal worden aan de hoogste eisen gehouden. PTD draagt actief bij aan technisch duikonderzoek.

Pim begon in 1982 met duiken. Na zijn universitaire opleiding richtte hij zich volledig op technisch duiken. Hij volgde trainingen bij legendarische namen als Kevin Gurr, Phil Short, Tom Mount en Ed Betts.

Pim started diving in 1982. After university he fully committed to technical diving, trained by legends including Kevin Gurr, Phil Short, Tom Mount and Ed Betts.

In 2008 vestigde hij het wereldrecord wrakduiken: 232 meter diep op het wrak van de Milano in Lago Maggiore (Italië) op een Ouroboros eCCR. Hij is waarschijnlijk de enige duiker die op meerdere CCR-types dieper dan 200 meter heeft gedoken.

In 2008 he set the world record wreck dive: 232 meters to the wreck of the Milano in Lago Maggiore, Italy on an Ouroboros eCCR. He is likely the only diver who has exceeded 200m on multiple different CCR types.

In 2016 startte Pim met het trainen van Special Forces-eenheden van verschillende landen. Als President van DIRrebreather organiseert hij wereldwijde expedities — Bunaken, Yamashiro, Carpathia, Viminale, Britannic.

In 2016 Pim began training Special Forces units from multiple countries. As President of DIRrebreather he organizes global expeditions — Bunaken, Yamashiro, Carpathia, Viminale, Britannic.

Pim publiceerde meerdere boeken over technisch duiken en schrijft voor Neptune (Russisch) en Duikmagazine. Naast duiken is hij pistool/geweer instructeur-trainer, counter terror instructeur en doceert aan een MBA-programma.

Pim has authored multiple books on technical diving and writes for Neptune (Russian) and Duikmagazine. Beyond diving he is a pistol/rifle instructor-trainer, counter-terror instructor, and teaches at an MBA programme.

Hoe werkt een rebreather? How does a rebreather work? +

Een rebreather hergebruikt de uitgeademde lucht. CO₂ wordt door een scrubber verwijderd en zuurstof wordt automatisch (eCCR) of handmatig (mCCR) bijgevuld. Hierdoor verbruik je veel minder gas dan bij open circuit en duik je zonder bellenspoor.

A rebreather recycles exhaled gas. CO₂ is removed by a scrubber and oxygen is topped up automatically (eCCR) or manually (mCCR). This means far lower gas consumption than open circuit, and diving without bubbles.

Welk type rebreather past bij mij? Which type of rebreather suits me? +

SCR — voor recreatief gebruik tot ca. 40m. Goedkoop en eenvoudig (Dolphin, Azimuth).
mCCR — handmatige zuurstofregeling, tot 80m. Minder elektronica (rEvo, KISS, Submatix).
eCCR — elektronisch gestuurd, tot 140m+ (Liberty, Inspiration, Megalodon). Meest geavanceerd.

SCR — recreational use to ~40m, cheap and simple (Dolphin, Azimuth).
mCCR — manual O2 control to 80m, less electronics (rEvo, KISS, Submatix).
eCCR — electronically controlled, to 140m+ (Liberty, Inspiration, Megalodon). Most advanced.

Ja. Een intro duurt 2 uur: 1 uur theorie + 1 uur in het zwembad. Minimaal 4 deelnemers. Je duikt op minimaal 2 verschillende rebreathers. Neem contact op via het formulier hieronder.

Waar vinden trainingen plaats? Where do courses take place? +

HQ is in Abbenes, Noord-Holland. PTD kan trainen op elke locatie met geschikte duikfaciliteiten. Binnen Nederland regelt PTD transport van/naar Schiphol en accommodatie.

HQ is in Abbenes, North Holland. PTD can train at any location with suitable dive facilities. Within the Netherlands PTD can arrange transport to/from Schiphol and accommodation.
