Like his/her father (or mother), the Inspiration Classic (Buddy Inspiration Classic) gets 4 stars. It won on safety, but lost on "ease of use" and "price" (compared to the Classic).

The Inspiration Classic was my first CCR. I bought it second hand (in 1998). I did my courses in the UK with Kevin Gurr. Although maybe outdated, I still like the Classic. It is a good (the best?) unit for new CCR divers.

I did my deepest dive (236 mtrs deep in cold water) on this legendary rebreather: the Ouroboros. However it now gets 2 stars because production and support have stopped.

Liquivision X1

Divecomputer CCR / 8 July

The X1 was one of the first dive computers with an OLED screen. Also new was the fact that one has to buy the dive-software from a third party. The X1 became very quickly the computer of many (technical) CCR divers.
